New renderings by NORVISKA for Zaha Hadid Architects’ Alisher Navoi International Scientific Research Centre in New Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The centre will include a museum, auditorium, research centre, and a residential school for 200 students. Named after the 15th-century poet Alisher Navoi, it will feature traditional Uzbek architecture with arched facades and courtyards for natural light and ventilation. Designed for Tashkent’s climate, it will use passive cooling techniques to maintain comfort with minimal energy use.
Inspired by this project, our creative team created this alternative view and reimagined the centre's landscape.
